Take my hand friends we are on this same terrible journey! I lost my brother to suicide September 18, 2001. We also live in Tennessee, he lived in Nashville and I live in Mt. Juliet. I know very well where Dickson is, what a small world.

I share your pain and heartache for your precious angel Stephen. He was a very handsome young man, wish I could have gotten to know him. Someday though I know I will get to meet him in our Heavenly home that God has promised to all that believeth in him!

Granny, you and Rick keep your heads held high and remember all of the good memories of you precious Stephen. I am here for you both, it has taken me a long time to deal with the loss of my brother and bestfriend. I ask God every night to just get me through the next day.

Stephen & I used to hang out all the time. He was the sweetest guy. He could always make me laugh, even in the worst of times. he still does to this day, I just think about something that he may have said or done. I still remember the last talk we had on the phone like it was yesterday, we were having the usual goofy talk. Then thats when he told me that he loved me, I told it back to him, we both laughed. He told me that he would talk to me tomorrow told me good night and said that he would be over tomorrow. that was the last time I ever heard his voice. Because that morning is when he was taken from us. I talked to him @ twelve thirty am. and around seven the sweetest guy you'll ever meet was taken from us. I still have the paper that he wrote his number down on. It read I HOP with his number telling me to call him any time. It was written in a blue marker. I am so sorry for your loss of a great, wonderful guy. Close

      Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories. For all the times you said the cuttest things when you were just a little feller that made me laugh, I thank you. Everytime I think about 
some of the things you came up with I am amazed all over again.You were an amazing little feller to Granny and I just know you would have been a wonderful young man if not for that terrible day. When you called to tell me your plans to go into the Army I just knew then that you would make a fine young man. I still can't believe that two weeks later you left us. I couldn't even cry at the funeral because it didn't seem real. I have cried a lot sense then and still cry a little over you. We all have excepted that we must go on but it will never be as good without you. We will love you forever. I know you have many special Angels around you that, like you, left too soon. My heart goes out to thair families. We'll miss you more on the Holiday's. Take care of our's hearts. You know you have a piece of all our hearts. We love and miss you forever.

Hi Sweetie:
        It's just Granny. I miss you . You were such a good looking kid and so personable. We all still have broken hearts. We lost so much when you left us. We all will forever wish we could take this day two years ago back. Sometimes I think that if I could see you just one more time and say goodbye I would feel better. Then I think, God willing , I will see you again one day. I often think of the fact that we are all so alike and so different in many ways. You were so one of a kind. Man did that strike a cord! You are one hundred percent right, and I never thought about it in that manner. That boy never met a stranger, he was a natural. I remember when he came home and told me that he was selling pizza coupons door to door. I was like "dude, what do you know about selling, and door to door is probably the hardest" His response: "Man you just gotta talk to people" And a truer friend you would never meet. My life without you in it has been quite different for that matter everyone's life changed 2 years ago.
So what is the same you ask? Your ability to make friends no matter where you are or what you do in life and after you left this life you are still making friends.
I remember many times we would be somewhere and you would start talking with someone after they left I would ask "who was that?" you always gave the same answer "A friend of mine".
And you ment it too you were as loyal a friend as anyone could hope for.
There are so many people who have come to this site to become friends of yours.
